Information we collect

When you make a seed contribution or choose a priced prayer and reflection ritual, we collect the name and email address you provide, any optional message, the offering selected and amount, payment status, and related transaction identifiers and dates. PayPal may provide the payer email address and transaction details. We do not collect or store your payment-card or PayPal password details; PayPal handles payment credentials.

Google Analytics collects website usage information, such as page visits and information supplied by your browser, to help us understand site use.

How we use information

We use donation information to record and administer contributions, send the thank-you email and prayer PDF you are told to expect, respond to your messages or privacy requests, and maintain the website. We use analytics information to measure and improve website usage.

Google Gmail access

Seed of Garden uses the Gmail API with permission to send email from its connected account. This is used to send donation thank-you messages to the email address supplied by the donor. The app does not read the account's inbox or use Gmail data for advertising. OAuth credentials are stored as Cloudflare Worker secrets and are not included in website code. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Service providers and sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed with service providers that operate the site: PayPal processes payments; Cloudflare hosts the site and stores donation records; Google Gmail sends thank-you emails; and Google Analytics measures site usage. These providers process information under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the site and its users.

Retention and your choices

We retain donation records in our systems for up to 12 months, after which they are automatically deleted. PayPal and other providers may retain information under their own policies. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete information associated with you by emailing contact@seedof.garden. We will review and respond to requests subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.

We may update this policy when our practices change. The latest version and its effective date will be posted on this page.
